After a career changing injury in rowing, Dina was fortunate to pick up a SLR film camera.  Instead of moving the boat with her body, she began photographing her resilient and powerful teammates from the coach boat, and spending evenings developing black and white prints in the darkroom.  Her teammates loved the photos so much, she started selling them; making enough money to buy a first of many darkroom set-ups.

From there a new passion was born and has continued for over 20 years.  Dina has photographed many weddings, families, births, events, products,  and was even hired to photgraph a funeral (eek!).

In addition to her own photography practice, she is a teacher of: darkroom processes, technical gear and shooting techniques, and extensive digital processes. With over 20 years of teaching people and photographying people, she has shared her knowledge and passion for photography with an immeasurable number.
